Journey Kids: Children's Ministry
Journey Kids desires that all children be given a safe, warm environment in which to learn Godly truths for their lives. In order to appropriately serve children of all ages, our church has tailor-made groups and activities for all age groups.
Sunday Mornings
Childcare/Nursery (Birth-3 year olds) 9:00am & 10:30am
Childcare is provided for babies and toddlers in the Nursery during Sunday morning Life Groups (9:00 am – 10:00 am) and the Worship Service (beginning at 10:30 am).

Sunday School (4 years old-5th grade) 9:00am
Sunday School meets in the gym at 9:00 am and goes until 10:00 am. This program is during Sunday morning Life Groups.
The children start in the gym for free play and organized activities. Then we move into our classroom to hear an age-appropriate Bible lesson, learn our monthly memory verse, and engage in activities to reinforce application of the lesson. The emphasis is on learning truth from God's word and applying it to our own lives.
Sunday School is September – July, with a break in August.

Wednesday Evenings
Awana (K-6th Grade) 6:00pm
Awana teaches children K-6th grade godly character centered on the gospel of Christ in order to help them learn responsibility and become mature adults. Journey Church hosts the following Awana groups on Wednesday evenings during the school year: Cubbies for Ages 3-4, Sparks for Grades K-2nd, and T&T (Truth & Training) for Grades 3rd-6th.
Awana is a global ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love, and serve Him. Awana is an acronym for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). It is a high-energy, disciplined, and fun program designed to teach kids (K-6th grade) about God in an exciting, safe, and kid-appropriate atmosphere.
AWANA will be canceled IF Clinton Public Schools cancel due to inclement weather or other circumstances.

Journey Students offers various activities, and emphasizes the importance of spiritual growth and relationships of the students here at Journey Church (6th-12th grade).

Middle School Life Groups 9:00-10:00am
6th-8th graders get together in small groups where they spend time together with their leader/s sharing life and going through a Biblical study. The middle school Life Groups are about growing together in our relationship with Jesus and each other.
